GRENDAL - is the latest additin to the Eden Farm Equine Staff roster. He is a 26 yr old pony mule who has spent the most recent years of his life is a less than acceptable petting zoo in upstate Pennsylvania. There were public complaints and concerns about the operation and Grendel and the other animals found themselves

cast off - needing intervention.

When an animal lover in the vicinity purhcased him from the operators of the petting zoo - he was thin and in poor condition.

Grendel is now in good weight and very happy to be pampered and

loved at EFES.

We are grateful for the woman who intervened on his behalf & saved his life......

Older horses, ponies, and mules like Grendel find themselves in dangerous situations. Less adoptable than younger horses and needing additinal geriatric care, they often find poor reward for their years of service to man.
