Josalie Barbera and Oscar
Josie and her father,
Tony, are weekly volunteers at EFES and help with stall cleaning and grooming. Tony has "adopted" Oscar and spends special time with him - Tony also helps with various
projects on the farm.
Kim and Bob Bell are financial sponsors of Dahlia & Boost. Kim helps twice a week on the farm, while Bob helps from time to time with barn/pasture projects. Kim grooms & help with stalls & turn outs. Kim's
"foster" horse is Dahlia and Bob is getting a relationship established with our boy, Boost.
Allyssa Makoski is back after a year of pre veterinary studies in Virginia. She
assists during college breaks and will
be an integral part of the operation in summer of 2012.
Sarah Groff also helps inbetwen her
busy nursing schedule and "mom" schedule.
Jeannie Kauffman has assumed the role of book store organzier. She also assists
with grooming. She has been a huge recent support. She helps sell our premim books on Amazon and has also organized the inside book store (now sharing space with the tack shop) which
presently has thousands of discount books. She has also assisted in many other ways and, like all the volunteers,
is a true blessing to the sanctuary.
Sheryl & Glen Runz are also new additions to our great group of horse lovers. Sheryl helps with stalls & grooming and Glen's expertise with
construction/design has already made
valuable upgrades to our facility.
